In the period of 2019-2024, the emulation movement "Exemplary war veterans" of the Dak Nong War Veterans Association has been deployed and achieved many positive results, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere.

The Association at all levels has successfully carried out the top important task of building and protecting the Party, the government, and the people, maintaining political stability and social order and safety at the grassroots level.

The movement of war veterans helping each other to reduce poverty and do business has been effectively organized and implemented by the association at all levels. Up to now, the association has 8 "War Veterans Business Clubs"; 261 farm and family farm models; 14 cooperatives; 45 cooperative groups; 20 enterprises owned by war veterans; 905 service business households, operating effectively.

100% of the branches and grassroots organizations built a fund "For comrades" with a total amount of more than 32.7 billion VND, helping over 4,525 member families develop their economy. The rate of poor households among members is only 2.7%; near-poor households 3.19%; an increase of 13,000 average and rich member households.

The movement of war veterans helping each other reduce poverty and do business has been effectively organized and implemented by the association at all levels, creating a spreading effect, encouraging and motivating members to enthusiastically compete in labor and production, contributing to improving the lives of members.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that all levels of the Veterans Association continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers", combined with promoting the study and following of President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Associations at all levels strengthen the work of mobilizing and gathering members; take care to build a clean and strong association; further improve the effectiveness and quality of emulation movements and campaigns among cadres and members of war veterans in the whole province, focusing on the emulation movement "Exemplary war veterans".

In addition, the association at all levels needs to promote charitable activities, help each other develop the economy, increase income, reduce poverty and strive to get rich among cadres and war veteran members.

In addition, the association at all levels plays a role in monitoring the implementation of the State's policies, laws and regulations. The association closely coordinates with all levels and sectors in resolving policies and regulations for war veterans and veterans; focusing on discovering, introducing and replicating typical advanced models, good practices, creative and effective models of war veterans' association members at the grassroots level.

Comrade Luu Van Trung believes that the patriotic emulation movement "Exemplary war veterans" in the 2024-2029 period will have new and increasingly solid developments, achieving greater results. War veterans will actively build and protect the Party and the government; participate in socio-economic development, becoming a reliable and solid support for the Party Committee, the government and the people.

At the Congress, the Provincial Veterans Association introduced and approved the list of delegates attending the 7th Vietnam Veterans Patriotic Emulation Congress in Hanoi, including 5 comrades.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives and 6 individuals; the Provincial War Veterans Association commended 24 collectives and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement "Exemplary War Veterans" for the period 2019-2024.
