Visiting the home of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Toan (born in 1932, residing in Tan Lap ward), General Phan Van Giang deeply expressed his gratitude and the great sacrifice that Mother Toan and her family devoted to the nation's revolution when her husband and two children heroically sacrificed their lives in the resistance war to save the country. The General sent his best wishes to Mother Toan and asked the Dak Lak government to continue to pay attention and do a good job in repaying the gratitude to the family of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother.

Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung said that Dak Lak province has more than 100,000 meritorious people. As of July 1, the whole province has been paying regular subsidies to more than 18,000 people, with a payment amount of over 53 billion VND/month. Regarding the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Dak Lak has implemented nearly 9,000 houses and will complete it before August 15.

Recently, the Ministry of National Defense has mobilized more than 2,500 billion VND, over 380,000 working days to build nearly 18,000 gratitude houses, and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, it has cared for and supported more than 2,800 people with meritorious services, sponsored 702 children of martyrs, and created jobs for 420 children of seriously wounded soldiers.

General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the Ministry of National Defense will continue to closely coordinate with ministries, branches and localities, including Dak Lak province, to effectively implement policies and preferential policies for people with meritorious services, ensuring they are correct, sufficient and timely. At the same time, it will step up propaganda work, educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism and a sense of responsibility for the younger generation.
