At Thu Duc General Hospital, doctors confirmed there was a tumor in the patient's abdomen. CT and MRI scans showed a tumor in the head of the pancreas but no signs of invasion.

On September 20, the pancreaticoduodenal resection surgery was performed successfully, removing the tumor.
According to Dr. Mai Hoa, Deputy Director of Thu Duc General Hospital, the surgery helps prevent the risk of tumor growth and invasion, improving the patient's long-term health prognosis.
"This is also a testament to the value of regular health check-ups and early screening. Thanks to early detection, doctors were able to intervene promptly and bring about positive treatment results. We recommend that people maintain the habit of regular health check-ups to best care for and protect themselves and their families," Dr. Mai Hoa shared.
