According to the assessment of the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, due to the impact of the storm, the Dak Lak sea area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. All boats, aquaculture cages and activities at sea are at high risk of being affected by tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and big waves.

To proactively respond, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requests the People's Committees of coastal and adjacent communes and wards to closely monitor the storm's developments; strictly manage vessels going out to sea; organize counting and notify owners of vessels and captains of ships and boats operating at sea of the location and direction of the storm so that they can proactively avoid it, not move into dangerous areas or return to safe shelters.

Units: Border Guard Command - Provincial Military Command, Phu Yen Coastal Information Station, Department of Fisheries and Islands, Fishing Port Management Board coordinate with coastal localities to promptly and fully inform captains and owners of vehicles; maintain communication to promptly handle bad situations that may occur.

Localities also need to implement measures to ensure the safety of people and property, especially in tourist spots, aquaculture and fishing areas; review and prepare plans to evacuate people from unsafe houses, areas at risk of deep flooding, river mouths and coastal areas.

Units organize on-duty disaster prevention and control according to regulations, regularly report the situation to the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
