Dak Lak has 1 student participating in the Asian Informatics Olympiad

On March 27, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak announced that the locality has one excellent student on the national team participating in the Asia- Pacific Informatics Olympiad.

Previously, at the National Team Selection Exam for the 2025 International and Regional Olympics organized by the Ministry of Education and Training from March 25-27 in Hanoi, Vo Thanh Hai, a 12th grade student at Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, Dak Lak province, excelled in entering the national team for the Asia- Pacific Informatics Olympiad.

"The school, teachers and students are very proud of the outstanding achievement that Vo Thanh Hai has just achieved. Although coming from a mountainous province, after 3 days of intense competition, Hai has proven his qualities, abilities and bravery. This achievement also affirms the important role of teacher Le Quang Nhan in teaching and guiding students to access knowledge of Information Technology", shared Mr. Nguyen Dang Bong, Principal of Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted.

According to Dr. Do Tuong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, this is the fourth time Dak Lak students have achieved this achievement.

Dr. Do Tuong Hiep emphasized that today's achievement of student Vo Thanh Hai is not only the joy of the provincial Department of Education and Training but also a motivation for students in mountainous areas to be confident, overcome difficulties, and conquer the peak of knowledge.

Previously, in the National High School Student Selection Exam for the 2024-2025 school year, student Vo Thanh Hai also won first prize in Informatics.
