Better perform the role of the Fatherland Front in social supervision and criticism activities; implement democratic regulations at the grassroots level, guide people to build and strictly implement conventions and self-management models in residential communities in accordance with the provisions of law, contributing to government building. Guide the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to contribute comments to the documents of Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party. Deploying preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Reporting on the work in 2024, Standing Vice Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Sy Truong emphasized that in 2024, the City Fatherland Front focused on guiding and directing the organization of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels for the 2024 - 2029 term, ensuring compliance with the instructions, requirements, and progress of the plan, and applying information technology in the organization of the congress. The Fatherland Front coordinated with the City People's Committee to complete the construction and repair of 714 solidarity houses for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, contributing to the goal of eliminating 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses in the city. Promote propaganda publications of the Fatherland Front at all levels; improve the effectiveness of propaganda work, grasp public opinion, spread positive activities, and typical models in residential communities. In the immediate future, the Fatherland Front and member organizations at all levels coordinate to concentrate resources, prepare plans to visit, encourage, and give gifts to policy families, the poor, and people in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty. The conference agreed to add 3 members to the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong joined the 18th City Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term to replace Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, who has transferred to another job.
