On September 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son My commune, Lam Dong province held the 1st Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province and 110 official delegates, representing all walks of life of the commune.

Comrade Tran Thi Dinh Huong, member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune for the 2024 - 2029 term, delivered the opening speech of the Congress.

After the merger, Son My Commune has made efforts to well implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the Commune for the term 2024 - 2029 and achieved many practical results. Cultural performance to welcome the Congress

The Vietnam Fatherland Front actively mobilizes the people to agree to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, and local political tasks. Actively propagates democracy, represents and protects the people's legitimate rights and interests, participates in supervision, and contributes ideas to build the Party and the Government.

Promote the role of member organizations, the Front's Working Committee and outstanding people in the community, step up humanitarian and charitable activities, care for the poor, protect the environment, maintain social order and safety, prevent crimes and social evils and ensure traffic safety.

Comrade Nguyen Le Thanh, Secretary of the Son My Commune Party Committee, gave a speech directing the Congress.

The Congress set out a specific action program for the 2025-2030 term such as: Propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, strengthening social consensus, promoting the strength of the Great National Unity bloc.

Continue to innovate and diversify forms of propaganda, mobilization, and people gathering, to firmly consolidate the Great National Unity bloc in the period when the country enters the "Era of the Vietnamese nation's rise", contributing to the development of Son My commune.

With the characteristics of a coastal commune with many large industrial projects, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune needs to focus on promoting its central role in solidarity, widely gathering people from all walks of life, mobilizing all resources and the spirit of solidarity of all walks of life in building great solidarity.

Pay attention to the lives of workers, fishermen, and poor households in industrial zones. Promote the role and resources of businesses and companies in movements and campaigns to compete in production, economic development, and social security activities in the locality.

Improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, promote democracy, and participate in building the Party and the political system. The Congress voted to approve the action program for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The consultative congress elected 49 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son My commune, term 1, 2025 - 2030; the consultative congress elected 5 members of the Standing Committee. Comrade Tran Thi Dinh Huong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, term 1, 2025 - 2030.
