In 2021, Mr. Narasimha in Pembarthi village, India hired a group of workers to help him dig the foundation to build a house on his land. Surprisingly, while digging at a depth of 0.6m, the group of workers unearthed a huge treasure. This treasure was a jar containing many artifacts made of gold, silver, and precious stones.
The group of workers immediately informed the land owner. Mr. Narasimha also informed the local authorities about the discovery. Some local government staff arrived at the scene. After checking, they confirmed that the jar contained 22 gold earrings and objects, 5 silver necklaces and objects, and 26 silver bars.
The total weight of this huge treasure is 189,820g of gold and 1,727g of silver. It is estimated that these items are worth up to billions of dong.

Authorities asked Mr. Narasimha to stop digging or constructing until further instructions. The objects inside the jar were then recovered. According to archaeologists, these items date back to the Kakatiya dynasty, which is between the 12th and 14th centuries. They hypothesized that some gangs illegally excavated the tomb to find treasure and left them on this land.
This is not the first time that jewellery and gold coins have been found. Earlier, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police seized a huge treasure of 216 ancient gold coins and a copper vessel worth over 1.3 million Indian Rupees.
They also seized the seal of Raja Muhammad Shah from 1720 to 1750 AD and gold coins.

The value of each coin in the treasure is estimated at between 60,000 and 70,000 Indian Rupees, equivalent to about 19 to 22 million VND, with a total value of more than 1.3 million Indian Rupees, equivalent to more than 4.1 billion VND. During the investigation, the police discovered that these gold coins were found after two workers digging the ground and accidentally discovered this treasure.
