Promote the implementation of the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen"

On May 24, Squadron 32, Coast Guard Region 3 Command coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee to organize the Mass Mobilization Program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province.

At the Reporter Program of Squadron 32, information was provided on the situation of maritime and island security and propaganda about the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard, legal regulations on preventing and combating illegal fishing (IUU), propaganda about the implementation of tasks to mobilize human resources and vessels to participate in protecting the sovereignty of seas and islands; coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Young Doctors Association to organize visits, medical examinations and free medicine distribution for fishermen and policy families; coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross, Cam Ranh City Youth Union and Cam Ranh City Labor Federation to organize humanitarian blood donations; visited and presented 250 gifts to policy families and fishermen in difficult circumstances (each gift worth 1 million VND); presented 15 gifts to offshore fishing vessels that comply with the European Commission's IUU regulations.

This is an activity showing the affection and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard in general, and Squadron 32 in particular, towards fishing households, policy families and students who are children of fishermen in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies.

Navy Medical Corps 32 participated in examining and giving medicine to fishermen.

At the same time, the program aims to strengthen military-civilian solidarity, consolidate patriotism, love for the homeland's sea and islands; further promote the spirit of solidarity between officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Coast Guard and the people of Khanh Hoa province, in building and firmly protecting the sovereignty, security and safety of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; propagate, mobilize, support and accompany fishermen in fishing activities to ensure safety and compliance with the law.
