Thien An Pagoda and kind-hearted people cook more than 4,000 free meals for people in flood-affected areas.

With the spirit of "Mutual love and support", from October 1 to 4, Thien An Pagoda, together with monks, nuns, Buddhists, philanthropists, donors and people of Bac Quang commune, mobilized and donated more than 4,000 free meals to give to people in flood-affected areas.

On average, every day, about 700 to 1,000 free meals are given to patients treated at Ha Giang General Hospital; people in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards, Tan Quang commune and Bac Quang commune. The warm and meaningful meals have contributed to giving spiritual strength to households and patients, bringing faith and hope in the days after the flood.

Along with organizing rice cooking, Thien An Pagoda and kind-hearted people have promptly supported hundreds of bottles of mineral water, milk and necessary foods for families in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards. This is a noble action and gesture, spreading the spirit of solidarity and affection of the social community towards people in flood-affected areas.
