Yersin Museum is located in the Pasteur Institute (Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City). This place is preserving many valuable artifacts and images of the Swiss-French doctor, Alexandre Yersin - the discoverer of the plague bacillus, a benefactor of the people of Khanh Hoa .

The museum displays everything from his letters to his mother to the microscope that discovered the plague bacteria, the bed where he took his last breath… Along the walkway are nostalgic black and white images of the land and people of Khanh Hoa.

3. Crossing Pham Van Dong pass, catching the wind at Heo cave

The starting point at the foot of Pham Van Dong pass is the bougainvillea vines growing on the cliffs.

Pham Van Dong Pass (Luong Son Pass) is one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Nha Trang. Visitors only need to travel about 15 minutes in the direction of Pham Van Dong Street to the North to reach the pass.

Going to the end of Pham Van Dong pass, visitors go inside about 200m and will see a curved rock beach along the coast, nearly a kilometer long.

Climbing inside these rocks is Pig Cave. Standing here, visitors can see Nha Phu lagoon with many fishing boats and hear the wind blowing through the rocks.

In particular, each time frame the mountain has its own beauty. In the early morning you will see the sunrise from the sea or the clouds drifting gently below the city.

In the afternoon you will watch the sunset, after the sky turns dark from the mountain you will see a Nha Trang lit up brilliantly.

5. Camping at Am Chua Lake

About 14km west of Nha Trang city, Am Chua Lake (Dien Dien commune, Dien Khanh district) lies halfway up Dai An mountain at an altitude of about 80m.

In addition, this place is also very close to the place of worship of Holy Mother Thien YA Na - the goddess in the beliefs of the Cham and Vietnamese people.
