Roads in Nha Trang beach town flooded with 'sea of rain', traffic jam

As of the evening of September 22, heavy rain had not stopped in Nha Trang, flooding many roads, making it difficult for vehicles to move and causing traffic congestion.

In Nha Trang, North Nha Trang and West Nha Trang wards, water rose 20 - 40cm, causing local flooding on some routes such as Pham Van Dong, October 23...

The rain started at 4pm, poured heavily and continued until evening. Due to rush hour, the heavy traffic caused many roads to be jammed.

Regularly traveling on Pham Van Dong coastal road, Ms. Ha An (residing in Bac Nha Trang ward) said that every time it rains heavily, this road is flooded.

Because it often rains in the afternoon, it sometimes causes traffic jams for hours, with vehicles climbing onto the sidewalk to move.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the afternoon of September 22, Khanh Hoa had moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall of 50-70mm.

In the next 3-6 hours, this area will continue to have rain with common amounts of 15-30mm, in some places over 50mm.

The center warned that in the next 6 hours, many places in Khanh Hoa are at risk of flash floods on rivers, small streams and landslides on steep slopes.
