10th grade benchmark scores in 15 localities: 1.6 points/subject is also acceptable

Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has just announced the admission scores for grade 10 public schools for the 2023-2024 school year. The highest admission score is 36 points for Ly Tu Trong High School (up 7 points compared to last year), followed by Nguyen Van Troi High School with 31.75 points.

The difference between the highest and lowest benchmark scores is up to 28 points. The three schools with the lowest benchmark scores include: To Van On High School - 12 points; Nguyen Hue High School - 12.75 points and Ton Duc Thang High School - 8 points.

Admission score to grade 10 public schools in Khanh Hoa = total score of 3 exams (Literature and Math coefficient 2, English coefficient 1) + priority points (if any). With this calculation formula, to get into the school with the lowest standard score, candidates only need to get 1.6 points/subject to pass.

In Ha Nam, the benchmark scores of many schools have decreased sharply compared to last year. Phu Ly A High School's benchmark score has decreased by 4 points, the school takes 29.75 points, while last year it took 33.75 points. The two schools with the lowest benchmark scores are Binh Luc C High School and Nguyen Khuyen High School, both taking 21.5 points.

Ha Tinh announced the admission scores for public high schools from 15 to 23.75 points. The difference between the highest and lowest school is 8.75 points.

Admission scores for non-specialized public high schools include: Total scores of 3 subjects Math, Literature, English with coefficient 1 and priority points. The school with the highest entrance score is Phan Dinh Phung High School with 23.75 points, followed by Huong Son High School with 20 points.

Nam Dinh announced the standard score for public 10th grade admission this year ranging from 25 to 38.8 points. Nguyen Khuyen High School has the highest standard score (38.8 points), followed by Hai Hau A High School (38.4 points); Tran Hung Dao High School (38 points).

Previously, 11 provinces announced the 10th grade benchmark scores including: Ninh Binh, Phu Yen, Can Tho, Hung Yen, Dong Nai, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Binh Dinh, Dien Bien, Bac Ninh, and Bac Lieu.
