The Admissions Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) has just announced the threshold to ensure the quality of regular university entrance (floor score) with the admission method based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam (method 3).

Surprised with the minimum scores of new majors

Accordingly, the minimum score for the school's 44 majors/training programs ranges from 18.5 to 21 points. The majors/training programs with high minimum scores are all "hot" majors of the school, such as: international relations, English language, psychology, journalism, multimedia communication, tourism and travel service management.

In these majors, the school applies a common floor score for both the general program and the international standard program (formerly the high-quality program).

Meanwhile, the school's lowest minimum score for selective majors is 18.5 points, including: education , educational management, Russian language, French language, Italian language, Spanish language, philosophy, religious studies, anthropology, social work, archival studies, information - library, geography, urban studies...

Notably, the school's three new majors are Korean business and commerce with a minimum score of 20 points; international studies and arts with the same minimum score of 19.5 points.

The floor score for the method of considering high school graduation exam scores has just been announced by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City.

Register your admission wishes on the ministry's common system

Regarding the method of registering admission wishes, candidates are not limited in the number of admission wishes until 5:00 p.m. on July 30.

Candidates can adjust and add to their admission wishes without any limit. Candidates must complete the admission registration process correctly and completely on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

After successfully registering, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of wishes registered for admission online on the ministry's system, within the prescribed time limit.

In case the candidate has not paid the admission fee, the system has not accepted the candidate's application for admission.

Time to pay admission fees according to the number of registered wishes: from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. August 6.

Refer to the early admission benchmark scores this year and last year

Previously, the school announced the early admission benchmark scores in 2024 , the multimedia communications major had the highest benchmark scores in the early admission methods 1.2, 2, 4, 5.1, 5.3, with the results in order of methods being 28.9; 28.85; 963; 29; 28.85 points.

The admission benchmark based on the competency assessment test scores ranges from 635 to 963 points. Besides multimedia communications (963 points), there are 11 majors with benchmark scores of 800 points or more.

The school's 3 new majors opening in 2024 have an admission score of over 700 points: art 765 points, Korean business 785 points, international studies 745 points.

The priority admission score according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University ranges from 24 to 28.85 points.

In 2023, the admission score based on the results of the high school graduation exam of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) ranges from 21 to 28 points.

Journalism (group C00) is the major with the highest admission score of 28 points.

In addition, the majors with scores of 27 or higher include: high-quality journalism (C00: 27.5 points), tourism and travel services management (C00: 27.4 points), multimedia communications (D14, D15: 27.25 points; D01: 27.02 points), literature (C00: 27 points), psychology (C00: 27 points).
