Forum for building policies to support students

On October 4, at Nha Trang University, the Ministry of Education and Training coordinated with the school to organize a dialogue forum to develop support policies for students from poor and near-poor households to improve their ability to study, practice and find jobs after graduation.

At the forum, representatives of the Department of Students of the Ministry of Education and Training exchanged, discussed, and disseminated to students the poverty reduction policies of the Party and the State; promoted the implementation of livelihood and poverty reduction models that have been deployed in localities from the results of scientific research topics, start-up projects of students and higher education institutions. Delegates also exchanged, discussed, and grasped the aspirations and proposals of students on current poverty reduction policies; assessed difficulties and obstacles, and proposed support solutions to effectively implement the models. This was also an opportunity to discuss policies to support start-ups, businesses, and build start-up models that create social impact in localities; and support policies of the State under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction to promote start-up models in localities, creating jobs and livelihoods for the community.
