On the afternoon of September 26, Ha Tinh Power Company (PC Ha Tinh) held an online meeting with 14 affiliated units in the area to deploy a response plan for storm No. 10.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 10 is strong, moving quickly, likely to directly affect Ha Tinh on September 28-29, 2025, accompanied by very heavy rain and the risk of major flooding on rivers. In particular, the storm is considered extremely dangerous when it has a trajectory along the coast of Ha Tinh with winds stronger than the recent storm No. 5 while the power grid in the area still has many vulnerable locations.
At the meeting, the company's leaders requested that the affiliated units report on the current power grid situation; key and vulnerable locations when storms occur. Up to now, the power management units in the area have inspected the power line system; reinforced many positions of poles, beams, and ropes; added ropes to key poles, braced transformer stations, offices, and material warehouses; trimmed trees in the corridors; prepared backup generators, cranes, bucket trucks, saws, and essential materials. Propaganda on electrical safety has also been strengthened through text messages, Zalo, and loudspeaker systems of communes and wards.
Some vulnerable areas, likely to be affected by storms and post-storm rains, proactively contacted households with boats to support travel when necessary, prepared life jackets for the power grid inspection force in flooded areas; at the same time, coordinated with local authorities, village chiefs, and people in propagating electrical safety among the people, clearing corridors, and quickly determining damaged locations.

The company's leaders requested units to learn from storm No. 5 and strictly implement the four principles of storm prevention: clearly identify people and clearly identify tasks; prioritize the restoration of the main axis; ensure power supply to the commune administrative center and key loads; and ensure absolute safety during incident handling.
Units must arrange 100% on-duty schedules, assign specific tasks to each individual in 3 stages: before, during and after the storm; at the same time, urgently count and count damages to have flexible and timely management plans.

Previously, PC Ha Tinh established 3 working groups directly commanded by the Board of Directors to inspect storm prevention work No. 10 in a number of key locations and areas.
In all situations, the company puts human and equipment safety first; giving absolute priority to key loads such as: storm prevention command agencies, hospitals, communications and flood pumping stations.
Along with preparing forces, PC Ha Tinh also strengthens coordination with local authorities, the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue and the Northern Power Corporation to proactively respond and promptly request support when necessary.
The company recommends that people proactively reinforce their household electrical systems, do not violate the safety corridor of the power grid; limit travel during storms; turn off the power to outdoor equipment, temporarily turn off the main circuit breaker when the house is flooded; absolutely do not take shelter from the rain under electric poles, near transformer stations, or come into contact with broken wires or electric poles. When detecting an incident, immediately contact the customer care hotline 1900.6769 for timely support.
