According to experts, if pepper prices continue to be maintained until the end of the year, Brazil's pepper export turnover could exceed 500 million USD, marking the highest level in the past 5 years.

However, this outlook still depends significantly on global economic developments, trade policies of major economies, and especially import demand from Vietnam in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The latest report from the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that many Vietnamese enterprises are planning to reduce the import of raw pepper from countries, including Brazil, to process and re-export to the US.

The reason is that the tariff of up to 40% on transit goods causes export costs to increase sharply, affecting business profits.

However, year-end consumption demand in the US, Europe and Asia is still expected to play an important role in maintaining current pepper prices in the highlands.
