On the morning of August 23, the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province conducted a thematic supervision on "Implementation of preferential policies and support on housing and land for people with revolutionary contributions" in Tan Ky district. Participating in the working delegation were comrades: Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Nhat Minh - Full-time delegate, Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

The delegation visited the family of Mr. Thai Hong Ha, a war invalid, in Ky Nam hamlet, Ky Son commune.

Before entering the working session, the delegation surveyed the actual situation to see and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of 2 families of meritorious people in Tan Ky Town and Ky Son Commune. Through the actual survey, it was shown that: Tan Ky district has done a good job of caring for and providing preferential treatment to meritorious people in the area, especially visiting and giving gifts on holidays of the homeland and country.

From February 2022 to June 2024, Tan Ky has completed the statistics of the number of households with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives in need of housing in the period 2021 - 2025 in the district.

Specifically, there are 403 people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs who need support and housing improvement, of which: 240 households build new houses, 163 households repair and renovate. Regarding land incentives, from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2024, the district has allocated land for housing to 1 case; reduced land use fees for 84 subjects who have contributed to the revolution with the reduced amount of over 10.1 billion VND.
