The Provincial Party Standing Committee's monitoring delegation worked with Ninh Hai District Party Committee

On August 16, the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, chaired by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Supervisory Delegation, had a working session with the Ninh Hai District Party Committee on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU dated January 25, 2022 of the 14th Provincial Party Executive Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the management and effective use of land, mineral resources (TNKS), and environmental protection (BVMT) until 2025, with a vision to 2030 (Resolution No. 21).

Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, relevant departments, branches and units.

In recent times, the management and use of land, natural resources and environmental protection in Ninh Hai district have had many positive changes and achieved important initial results. Ninh Hai District Party Committee has promptly issued leadership documents and directed implementation in line with the reality of local state management. The work of planning and land use planning has been put into order. Compensation, support and resettlement when the state reclaims land; land allocation, land lease, and change of land use purpose are carried out in accordance with the procedures prescribed by law. The management of natural resources, especially unexploited minerals, has been promptly led and directed by the District Party Committee and People's Committee. Legal awareness of natural resources protection among the people and businesses has been raised. Environmental protection work has been carried out with attention. Facilities with large wastewater sources all have treatment facilities, which are monitored and periodically observed; treated wastewater meets the permitted environmental standards. Waste and garbage are collected and treated to ensure environmental hygiene.

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered a concluding speech at the working session.

Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Ninh Hai District Party Committee in leading, directing, and implementing the tasks of land management, land use, natural resources and environmental protection in the past time. He requested the District Party Committee to continue to strengthen its leadership and direction, overcome shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, and obstacles, and review the targets to have solutions to effectively implement the tasks and targets set out in Resolution No. 21. In particular, strengthen leadership and direction in propaganda work to raise awareness for cadres and people. Complete planning; strictly manage land types on the basis of issued planning. Promote the issuance of land use right certificates. Pay attention to natural resources management; there is a need for more effective solutions to manage and protect the environment. Improve the quality of human resources; in particular, promote the application of information technology in management work.
