The 14th Party Congress Party Charter Subcommittee Survey Delegation worked with the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee

On the morning of August 15, the Inspection Delegation of the Party Charter Subcommittee of the 14th National Congress, led by Comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, came to work with the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee to inspect the results of Party building work during the 13th National Party Congress and the implementation of the Party Charter for the 2011-2025 period.

Comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, Head of the survey delegation delivered a concluding speech at the working session.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee.

In recent times, the City Party Committee and Party committees at all levels have focused on Party building in terms of politics ; Party building in terms of ideology; Party building in terms of ethics; innovating and perfecting the organizational apparatus and improving the operational efficiency of the political system; consolidating and building grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members; building a contingent of cadres to meet task requirements; strengthening inspection and supervision work to prevent and handle violations, and repel degradation in the Party.

From 2021 to present, Can Tho City Party Committees at all levels have admitted 7,987 Party members (reaching 114.1% of the Resolution of the term); organized reviews and screening to remove 229 Party members who are no longer qualified from the Party (of which 60 cases were expelled, 169 cases were removed from the Party member list); sent more than 48,500 cadres, civil servants and public employees for training and fostering to improve their qualifications in all aspects; disciplined 2 Party organizations and 442 Party members who violated the law.

The fight against corruption, negativity and waste has been given attention. From 2021 to now, we have promptly handled prominent violations, recovered more than 119 billion VND, contributing to building and strengthening the trust of party members and people...

In his concluding remarks at the conference, comrade Hoang Dang Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and results that the Can Tho City Party Committee had achieved in Party building during the 13th Congress term as well as implementing the Party Charter for the 2011-2025 period.

The Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee noted that in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee will continue to summarize practices and draw experiences in Party building work; identify challenges and difficulties in Party building work in the city; clearly identify the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations at all levels; difficulties in people's supervision of Party members' moral cultivation and lifestyle; limitations in Party member development work, cadre work, and current internal political protection work...

From there, effective solutions were proposed to improve the quality of all aspects of Party building work. Regarding local opinions and recommendations, the survey team recorded and synthesized them fully to complete the report of the Party Charter Subcommittee of the 14th National Congress in the coming time.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hieu, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, spoke to accept the direction of the head of the survey delegation; affirmed that the Can Tho City Party Committee will supplement solutions to better implement Party building work in the coming time.
