This morning (September 29), General Secretary To Lam , Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee's Standing Committee to give opinions on the results of directing the handling of corruption, waste and negativity cases and incidents since the 28th Session up to now; as well as the results of reviewing, handling and inspecting projects and works that are behind schedule, have long backlogs and are at risk of causing loss and waste.

According to the Report, since the 28th Session of the Steering Committee, Party committees and functional agencies have made many efforts, tried, closely coordinated, seriously and effectively implemented, closely followed the requirements and tasks set out, especially the 4 requirements and 6 tasks on the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity according to the Conclusion of General Secretary To Lam, Head of the Steering Committee at the 28th Session of the Steering Committee.

General Secretary To Lam affirmed that the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity continues to be implemented resolutely and methodically, achieving many practical results, contributing significantly to the work of building and rectifying the Party, the political system and socio-economic development, consolidating people's trust in the Party's leadership.
