Over the past 10 years, the 915th Military Economic Group has focused on improving the quality of military and defense work, building a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture. At the same time, the unit has promoted socio-economic development programs in border areas and areas with many difficulties, contributing to improving people's lives and strengthening trust in the Party, State and Army.

The highlight of the unit's activities is the work of mass mobilization and support for infrastructure construction. Many essential traffic works have been invested in construction such as: the residential road of the Nam Vinh Te border belt; Nong Truong canal road; the road connecting National Highway N1 to the 290 milestone; canal road 500 and Thi Van road. The unit also supports the construction of 8 rural bridges, 1 primary school, 1 commune cultural center and medical equipment for local health stations.

In the economic field, the Union has supported tens of thousands of breeding animals (cows, pigs, chickens, fish...) for poor households, creating conditions for production development and increasing income. Notably, after 10 years of implementing the construction of the Long Xuyen Quadrangle Economic-Defense Zone, up to now, all 8/8 communes in the area have been recognized as meeting new rural standards. The local appearance has changed significantly, the poverty rate has decreased sharply from 23.96% (in 2015) to 2.87% (in 2024).

With its outstanding achievements, Economic-Defense Group 915 has been recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees and authorities at all levels. Many outstanding collectives and individuals have been rewarded. In 2022, the unit was awarded the title "Determined to Win Unit"; in 2023, it was honored to receive the Military Region's Emulation Flag in the Determined to Win emulation movement.
