Authorized by the leaders of Dong Nai province, Ms. Huynh Thi Be Nam, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs attended and received the delegation.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Huynh Thi Be Nam said: Dong Nai is a province located in the Southern key economic zone, has a border with the Kingdom of Cambodia, has Hoa Lu International Border Gate, Long Thanh International Airport is about to be put into operation, promises to be a dynamically developing locality in the future.
Regarding investment attraction, there are currently 51 countries and territories investing in Dong Nai with nearly 2,200 projects. South Korea alone has 458 projects with a capital of 8.1 billion USD - one of the leading countries in terms of number of projects and total investment capital in Dong Nai.

Regarding friendship cooperation, since 2016, Dong Nai province has established the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, which currently has over 500 members. The Association has many exciting activities, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between the people of Vietnam and Korea.
Particularly, Dong Nai province and Jeollanam province have established a friendly cooperative relationship since 2019 and have many cooperative contents, have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, regularly have relationships, meet and exchange with each other. Besides expressing her joy at welcoming the Youth Union of Jeollanam province to exchange in Dong Nai, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Huynh Thi Be Nam hopes that this program will be a practical activity to strengthen the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Korea in general and Dong Nai and Jeollanam provinces in particular.
Ms. Park Kyung Ae, Chief Representative of Jeollanam Province Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, thanked Dong Nai Province for welcoming the delegation. In addition to general information about the characteristics of Jeollanam Province, Ms. Park Kyung Ae also hoped that in addition to cultural exchange and historical learning, the Youth Union of Jeollanam Province would have the opportunity to learn more about the economy and society of Dong Nai Province, helping to understand more about the land and people of Dong Nai, contributing to further strengthening the friendly relationship between the two provinces.

At the meeting, representatives of Jeollanam province's youth and representatives of departments, branches and organizations discussed and clarified a number of issues of concern to Jeollanam province's youth.
From August 4 to 7, the Youth Union of Jeollanam Province will have many cultural exchange activities, learn about history and experience in Dong Nai Province.
