Businesses are busy for the beach festival season

The Tan Thanh Sea Sports and Music Festival has just ended. Mr. Le Quoc Viet - Head of the Tan Thanh Fishing Village Market Management Board said that the Tan Thanh Sea Sports and Music Festival takes place annually. This is the earliest sea tourism event in Hoi An this year.

While the event in Tan Thanh fishing village is mainly held during the day, from morning to night, at An Bang beach (Dien Ban) - the music festival - seafood cuisine is bustling in the evening and at night. This event attracts many foreign tourists and young people.

The festival activities are likened to a buffet party on the sea with full colors and sounds of many cultures. With nearly 30 European - Asian food stalls and introductions of local start-up and OCOP products, along with art exchange activities of Cham dance, lantern dance, international music and DJ disco music on the beach, visitors will feel both wild and modern.

Mr. Le Ngoc Thuan - Director of An Bang Sea Festival and Event Organization Company said that from 2019 up to now, the unit has regularly organized festivals lasting from 1 to 2 days, attracting thousands of visitors every year.

Since the end of last year, many interested travel agencies have contacted Mr. Thuan to ask for information about this year's An Bang Sea Music and Food Festival. As planned, An Bang Sea Festival and Event Organization Company will organize 2 rounds around the middle of May and the end of summer in August.

“This year we will organize on a smaller scale than usual due to financial constraints. We will continue to operate because we want to revive local beach tourism and reduce the number of tourists in the old town.

More than ever, we need the cooperation of three parties: the government, businesses and the local community. Because the potential of this activity is huge, maintaining the An Bang Sea Music and Food Festival as a unique feature, coming back in season makes tourists very excited and impressed by a Hoi An that is not only the ancient town" - Mr. Thuan said.

Tam Ky invites businesses to participate in organizing the sea festival

Mr. Vo Thanh Cung - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Tam Ky City said that at this time, Tam Ky City has completed the general draft and some detailed plans for the 2024 Sea Culture - Sports - Tourism Festival, taking place next June.

From the Carnival Festival, the open sea swimming and basket boat racing competition, the kite art performance, the 2024 international sea tennis tournament, the final of the "Miss Vietnam of the Era" contest...

“These are activities organized or co-organized by the People’s Committee of Tam Ky City. However, Tam Ky has not yet called on tourism service businesses or travel agencies to participate,” said Mr. Cung.
