On the morning of October 20, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy directions and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. The conference was connected online to the bridge points of communes and wards across the province.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the provincial education sector has made many efforts and effectively implemented solutions for comprehensive innovation, achieving many outstanding achievements, recognized by local Party committees, authorities and people.

The system of schools and school locations continues to be streamlined and appropriate; the system of boarding and semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities is expanded in scale and gradually improved in quality; the rate of solid classrooms and schools meeting national standards increases;   The quality of mass education and key education has been gradually affirmed; the rate of children attending kindergarten has increased (higher than the national average); the quality of awards and the number of students participating and winning awards in regional and national competitions and exams are increasing; for two consecutive times, Tuyen Quang province has had a project selected by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate in the International Science and Technology Competition held in the United States. In the 2025 National High School Student Selection Exam, Tuyen Quang province had 74 prize-winning candidates...

After the merger, the whole province has 1,100 educational institutions and schools, the rate of schools meeting national standards at level 1 or higher is 64.71%; the staff and teachers are interested in and developed to improve their qualifications, expertise and skills to meet the development requirements in the new period; the 2018 General Education Program is effectively implemented with many positive results; digital transformation, administrative reform and communication continue to be interested and promoted throughout the industry.

However, the provincial Education and Training sector still faces many difficulties: Facilities and teaching equipment are limited, the rate of solid classrooms is lower than the national average; teachers at all levels are still lacking compared to the assigned number and the prescribed standards of the Ministry of Education and Training; the quality of mass education in some ethnic minority, mountainous and border areas is still low...

Delegates attending the conference discussed and proposed solutions to remove difficulties, overcome limitations as well as propose solutions to effectively implement tasks and goals of the 2025-2026 school year.

The provincial Department of Education and Training has identified the key goals and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year and until 2030, which is to strongly innovate management thinking, develop education and training. In particular, considering education and training as the foundation for the development of the new Tuyen Quang province, giving top priority to the human development strategy, creating momentum for socio-economic growth; innovating education with students as the foundation, comprehensively developing capacity and qualities; building a team of teachers and educational managers with solid expertise, good skills, enthusiasm, responsibility, meeting the requirements of innovation. Along with that, focusing on developing education associated with culture and tradition; proactively integrating, updating the quintessence of humanity, taking advantage of scientific and technological achievements, especially digital technology and artificial intelligence; increasing investment associated with improving management and usage efficiency; Mobilize social resources, public-private partnership, expand creative space and develop sustainable education. The goal by 2030 is to have over 73% of kindergartens and over 80% of general schools meeting national standards; 100% of solid classrooms; 100% of staff and teachers proficiently apply information technology and effectively exploit modern teaching equipment; strive to be in the group of 25-30 provinces and cities with strong educational quality development...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha acknowledged and commended the achievements that the provincial Education and Training sector has achieved in the past time. He suggested that in the coming time, the Education and Training sector should continue to effectively implement the direction of the Central Government, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the province in the field of education and training. In particular, implementing Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW dated August 12, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee "on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration"...

He emphasized that the 2025-2026 school year is very important, being the first year to implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030) and to carry out key tasks with the theme of the school year "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 26/CT-TTg dated September 15, 2025. At the same time, he requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, local leaders and units to pay attention to the cause of education, thoroughly grasp the direction of the Party and State to always consider education and training as the "top national policy", the cause of the Party, the State and the entire people.

Along with that, continue to improve the effectiveness of state management of education and training, school governance towards increasing autonomy, enhancing accountability, promoting democracy in educational and training institutions. The provincial education sector actively coordinates with functional sectors and localities to continue reviewing, adjusting, and supplementing the planning of the network of public service units in the field of education and training; implementing the arrangement and reorganization of schools, school locations, and classrooms to ensure compactness, suitability with the characteristics and conditions of each region and each school, contributing to improving the quality of education and training.

Along with that, pay attention to building a team of teachers and educational managers at all levels that are truly exemplary, a shining example for students to follow; promote professional training, improve capacity, sense of responsibility, and professional ethics of the team of teachers and managers to meet the requirements of innovation and improve the quality of education in the new period.

He also shared with schools, teachers and students in the province who suffered losses in the recent floods and requested localities and the education sector to continue implementing plans to overcome the damage caused by floods, pay attention to teachers and students affected by floods, and ensure teaching plans for the school year...

On this occasion, 8 groups and 21 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training; 4 groups received Emulation Flags from the Provincial People's Committee; 7 groups received the Title of "Excellent Labor Group"; 7 groups and 60 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in education and training.
