Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang visited and presented gifts to Huong Tra Kindergarten

DNO - On the morning of October 21, Central Party Committee member and Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang visited and encouraged the staff and teachers of Huong Tra Kindergarten (Tra Lien commune).

Also attending were representatives of the City People's Council, City People's Committee and members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

The Board of Directors of Huong Tra Kindergarten said that the school currently has 3 campuses, educating more than 160 children. From the 2024-2025 school year, the school will officially implement a boarding model.

Due to difficulties in facilities, the school proactively called for support from benefactors; making the most of local resources to organize effective boarding.

The school's teaching staff is dedicated and responsible, always ensuring the care and teaching of children is thoughtful and safe.

The biggest difficulty now is that the central school is located in an area at high risk of landslides during the rainy and stormy season.

The school's Board of Directors recommends that the city pay attention to and invest in building a new school in a safer location, to create the best conditions for raising children.

City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the dedication of the teaching staff and the school's Board of Directors, as well as shared the hardships that teachers in mountainous areas are facing.

The City Party Secretary hopes that the teaching staff will continue to promote their responsibility, care for and educate students in the spirit of "teachers like kind mothers", contributing to the development of the locality.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang suggested that local authorities need to closely monitor the weather situation, proactively let students stay home from school when there is heavy rain and high risk of landslides; and deploy measures to ensure safety for people in areas at risk of natural disasters.
