Take a direct flight from Vladivostok (Russian Federation) to Phu Quoc

On the afternoon of October 19, Vietjet Air's Airbus 321-VJ 3522 aircraft carrying 220 passengers from Vladivostok (Russia) landed at Phu Quoc International Airport, marking the reopening of flights from Russia to Phu Quoc special economic zone during the peak winter tourist season of 2025-2026.

This is the first direct flight from Vladivostok (Russian Federation) to Phu Quoc after nearly 7 hours of flight. The first Russian tourists are part of a charter tour package (including airfare, accommodation, sightseeing and local services) operated directly by Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited.

The welcoming ceremony for the international tourist group from the Russian Federation was solemnly organized by the local authorities with a water cannon welcoming ceremony at the apron, a traditional lion dance welcoming performance at the arrival hall, combined with the activity of giving away Vietnamese conical hats... creating sympathy and impression for tourists about a safe, hospitable and attractive destination.

According to the plan, after this flight, Phu Quoc will welcome charter flights departing from 14 cities of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), operated by Azur Air and Vietjet Air, with a frequency of 75-80 flights/month, ensuring the transport of more than 10,000 international passengers per month.

The reopening of direct flights from the Russian Federation to Phu Quoc is an opportunity to promote the "pearl island" to airlines and tours around the world .
