When the journey of discovery becomes a privilege
Adventure tourism is becoming one of the fastest growing trends in Southeast Asia. According to Research & Markets (2025) report, the global adventure tourism market size is expected to increase sharply, from 351.57 billion USD in 2024 to 421.89 billion USD in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 20%.
In Vietnam, the number of tourists participating in nature exploration, mountain climbing and adventure tours is also increasing. Quang Tri - home to a majestic cave system, is becoming a favorite of international tourists.
Understanding customer needs, UOB Vietnam Bank cooperates with Oxalis Adventure to launch an exclusive promotion program for UOB customers in Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia and Thailand.

UOB Vietnam has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oxalis Company Limited and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Photo: UOB Vietnam).
UOB cardholders in the above countries will receive a 10% discount when booking Oxalis adventure tours such as Son Doong, Hang En, Tu Lan, Hang Va, Hang Tien. This offer is not only a show of gratitude, but also a way for UOB to bring different experiences, connecting with nature.
UOB customers in Vietnam, including those who own a credit card, debit card, current account or deposit at the bank, have the opportunity to receive a tailor-made tour to explore Son Doong in the summer of 2026.
The point accumulation mechanism is designed flexibly, making it easy for customers to participate through familiar daily transactions. Specifically, for each spending transaction using a debit or credit card, customers will accumulate points accordingly: 1 point for transactions in Vietnamese Dong, 2 points for transactions in foreign currencies and 10 points for every 10 million VND spent on the card. Each successfully approved credit card will be added 5 bonus points.
In addition, customers can also accumulate points through deposit and payment products. Every 1 million VND of average monthly balance in the payment account (CASA) will correspond to 1 point; new or renewed term deposits are calculated as 1 point for every 10 million VND.
In addition, when paying bills via the UOB TMRW Vietnam application with a value of VND 500,000 or more, customers will also receive additional corresponding bonus points.
The 10 customers with the highest total accumulated points from using UOB Vietnam's banking products, under the year-end points accumulation program, will receive a Son Doong expedition designed exclusively for UOB Vietnam in the summer of 2026.
The opportunity to join the journey organized by UOB and Oxalis is a rare privilege, giving customers a “once in a lifetime” experience at a world-famous natural wonder.
Son Doong - a journey not for the majority
Recently, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park was honored by the World Travel Awards 2025 as “Vietnam's Leading Natural Destination” and “Asia's Leading National Park”. This is the first time a natural tourist area in Vietnam has been honored in both categories of WTA.
Hidden in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang jungle, Son Doong is a majestic symbol of Vietnam's nature, known as the largest cave in the world. Each year, only about 1,000 tourists are granted permission to conquer it. That limitation makes Son Doong an experience not for the majority, but for those who truly deserve it.

With “Son Doong Experience - Exclusive privilege for UOB customers”, the bank offers a rare opportunity for customers to touch this wonder in their own way.
This will be a tailor-made experience, where every step is a story and every moment is an unforgettable mark.
“This is not only a journey to discover nature, but also a journey to discover oneself. We want to bring customers values that go beyond material experiences, emotions, and pride in contributing to spreading the beauty of Vietnam to the world. A journey not for the majority but for those who deserve it,” shared a UOB representative.

Through its partnership with Oxalis - Vietnam's leading adventure travel brand, UOB affirms its position as a bank that accompanies a classy, sophisticated and profound lifestyle.
This combination is expected to open a new standard of sustainable tourism: where luxury is not about material things, but about different experiences, connecting people with nature.
With personalized privileges, UOB not only opens the door to Son Doong, a world-class natural wonder, but also continues the journey of understanding and accompanying customers.
