HNP - On September 27, at the Ward Culture - Information & Sports Center, the 1st Congress of Thanh Liet Ward Women's Delegates, term 2025-2030 was a great success with the participation of 154 official delegates. Comrade Bui Thi Phuong Hoa was appointed as President of Thanh Liet Ward Women's Union.

During the past term, the Thanh Liet Ward Women's Union continued to promote the tradition of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, innovation and determination to overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve and exceed the main targets and tasks for the period 2021-2025. Many creative and widespread models and projects in the Branches and Union groups were voluntarily participated by female cadres and members, such as: supporting women to integrate into economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, the program "Godmother, accompanying children" to build civilized and happy families, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Thanh Liet Ward Party Congress for the term 2020-2025 and the Resolution of the Congress of Women's Delegates at all levels.

In the 2021-2025 term, the women's movement and the Association's activities achieved many outstanding results: completing and exceeding 8/8 targets of the Resolution; effectively managing the entrusted capital of over 56 billion VND, helping more than 1,100 households borrow to develop the economy; organizing hundreds of cultural and social activities; maintaining and replicating the models of "5 no, 3 clean", "Women behave beautifully", protecting the environment. Donating over 500 plastic baskets and 200 paper bags to traders in the market; installing 06 civilized garbage stations, donating 50 covered garbage bins at the branches, contributing to improving the criteria of civilized urban areas.

The Association also actively participates in building the Party, the government, maintaining security and order, contributing with the locality to complete the goal of achieving advanced new rural standards, model new rural areas and civilized urban areas. The work of building a strong and effective Association organization is identified as a key task. Every year, 100% of the Association's staff are trained. 310 new members are admitted, reaching a rate of 1.7%. The total number of members in the Ward to date is 4,422 new members, 32 honorary members. The rate of attracting young women aged 18 and over to participate in the Association organization is 62%.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Congress identified 8 goals and 2 breakthroughs: Comprehensive digital transformation in the activities of the Association; Accompanying women to improve digital capacity; Innovating the operation methods of the branches; building a team of Association officials with qualities, courage, intelligence, enthusiasm, creativity, closeness to members, meeting the requirements of women's work in the new situation.

Some basic targets: Every year, help at least 20 households achieve the criteria of "Civilized and happy family"; each branch carries out at least one project or task; the membership growth rate increases by 1% or more each year.

Praising the achievements of the Thanh Liet Ward Women's Union in the past time, comrade Ly Duy Xuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, hoped that in the coming term, the Ward Women's Union would continue to promote its core role in women's work; focus on propaganda and mobilizing cadres and members to constantly practice, improve political awareness and operational capacity; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns such as: "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", the Campaign "Women in the Capital behave beautifully"... At the same time, continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; constantly improve the quality of the Union organization; focus on developing members, building a team of Union cadres with strong expertise, close to the grassroots; promote participation in Party building, building a clean and strong political system; participate in state management, supervision and social criticism; contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc and building an increasingly strong and developing Association.

The Congress announced the Executive Committee consisting of 35 comrades; the Standing Committee consisting of 9 comrades. Comrade Bui Thi Phuong Hoa, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Thanh Liet ward.
