Comrade Dang Hong Sy, born on January 20, 1976, Kinh ethnic group, hometown: Ky Giang commune, former Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province; professional qualifications: Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Journalism; Advanced level of Political Theory.

Before working in Lam Dong, comrade Dang Hong Sy held many important positions in the former Binh Thuan province such as: Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Secretary of the Ham Thuan Nam District Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission. From August 2024, comrade Dang Hong Sy was the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province, 15th term. Comrade Dang Hong Sy is currently a delegate of the 15th National Assembly, Lam Dong province; Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education.

From July 2025, after the former provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong merged with Lam Dong province, implementing Decision No. 2173-QD/NSTU of the Politburo, the Lam Dong Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term has 95 members, the Standing Committee consists of 29 members. Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, was appointed as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; 7 comrades were appointed as Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, of which comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, was appointed as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Comrades: Tran Hong Thai, Ho Van Muoi, Pham Thi Phuc, Luu Van Trung, Dang Hong Sy, Bui Thang were appointed as Deputy Secretaries of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

On September 17, the Politburo announced the decision to transfer and appoint comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, and to introduce him to be elected as Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.

Pursuant to Conclusion No. 03-KL/TU dated October 17 of the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam signed Notice No. 06-TB/TU, assigning comrade Dang Hong Sy as Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
