On the morning of July 18, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the Party Committee of Nghia Thuan commune on the operation of the local government apparatus after rearranging administrative units and leading the implementation of political tasks at the grassroots level.

Nghia Thuan commune was established on the basis of merging Thanh Van and Nghia Thuan communes (belonging to the old Quan Ba ​​district). This is a border commune, 220 km from the provincial center, with a total natural area of ​​over 8,000 hectares, and a 15.2 km long border with China.

There is a pair of open roads in Na Cho Cai village, connecting with Bat Bo Commune (China). The commune has 16 villages, of which 5 are border villages; the population is over 9,500 people belonging to 11 ethnic groups, of which Mong and Nung ethnic groups account for about 90%. The commune Party Committee has 28 affiliated Party organizations, with more than 630 party members. The rate of poor households is currently 32.2%, near-poor households are nearly 14%.

After the merger, the political system of Nghia Thuan commune was improved, the organization was streamlined, ensuring unity in leadership and direction in the area. The working group recorded many opinions and recommendations from the locality on the conditions of facilities, offices, and public housing being degraded, not yet meeting the needs; some new departments and tasks transferred to the grassroots government were not operating synchronously; the digitization of documents and application of information technology in work processing were still limited; the commune had a large area, scattered population, infrastructure conditions, and economic development still faced many difficulties.

At the meeting, leaders of departments and branches discussed and clarified a number of contents related to the organization and operation of two-level government, apparatus arrangement, staff arrangement, digital transformation, land management, infrastructure construction, preparation for arranging schools for the new school year... At the same time, leaders of departments and branches expressed their willingness to continue supporting Nghia Thuan commune to overcome difficulties, improve management efficiency, and gradually stabilize and develop the local socio -economy.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung expressed her joy at the consensus of the cadres and people of Nghia Thuan commune, and acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Party Committee and government of Nghia Thuan commune in the early stages of operating the two-level government model after the merger. She emphasized that this is an important transitional period, requiring high determination, flexibility and creativity in direction and administration.

He suggested that the Commune Party Committee continue to promote its leadership role, do a good job of ideological work to create consensus among cadres, party members and people; focus on overcoming difficulties in physical facilities, soon stabilize the organization, and ensure smooth operation of the political system. At the same time, pay attention to effectively implementing digital transformation at the grassroots level; continue to strengthen training and coaching to improve professional capacity, improve service quality for people; proactively coordinate with departments and branches to remove obstacles in the fields of land, construction, planning, education , economic development, etc.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee especially reminded the Party Committee of Nghia Thuan commune to focus on performing well the task of preparing and successfully organizing the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term. Building a Political Report clearly defining the development orientation of the commune in the new term, clearly identifying strengths, setting out breakthroughs, focusing on key points, long-term vision... the most important goal is to clearly define the leadership role of the Party Committee, synchronous economic development associated with ensuring social security, maintaining political security, promoting the great solidarity of the people.
