Establish relief goods reception points in the province

Comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired a meeting on receiving relief goods for people affected by floods.

At the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee briefly informed about the current flood situation and the impact of the natural disaster on localities in the province. With the complicated situation, Tuyen Quang province has decided to establish a relief goods collection point to promptly support households in flooded and isolated areas.

Provincial Police leaders proposed approaches to isolated points.

Representatives of agencies and units have proposed ideas and solutions to ensure the smooth and quick reception and distribution of relief goods. Discussions focused on gathering locations, transportation methods and ways to support people in isolated areas, ensuring access to households in need. Agree on gathering locations for relief goods at the Provincial Farmers' Association, An Tuong Ward and flexible gathering points in areas accessible to previously isolated households in Ha Giang . The establishment of gathering points ensures that relief resources are quickly allocated to the right places and to the right people.

Agreed to provide emergency support of 1,000 boxes of instant noodles, more than 300 boxes of water, 300 combos of necessities and mobilize police and military forces to deliver them to people in Ha Giang wards 1 and 2 in the evening of October 1 and 2.

The provincial Red Cross Society's leaders proposed a plan to concentrate relief supplies on people in flooded areas.

According to the plan, the Provincial Farmers' Association's gathering point will receive and distribute relief goods to isolated locations, ensuring that people in flood-affected areas receive timely and adequate support.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, requested the police force, the army, relevant departments and branches, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations to focus on handling arising issues, ensuring that relief goods go in the right direction, to the right recipients, and avoiding spontaneous activities that cause difficulties for relief work.
