
The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway has a total length of about 33.32 km through Son La, passing through Van Ho and To Mua communes and Van Son ward with 760 households and individuals affected; it is expected that about 72 households will have to resettle and be given new residential land; the total area recovered to implement the project is about 318.3 hectares.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and localities reported on the implementation of site clearance, compensation and resettlement, difficulties and problems related to the handling of community forest land and forest land assigned to households for management and proposed the Provincial People's Committee to guide the resolution.


Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested units and localities to concentrate on accelerating the site clearance progress, striving to hand over to investors before October 30. He assigned departments and branches to direct the forest rangers to supervise and urge the relocation of trees and assets on the land according to the approved plan; develop a plan to inspect, monitor and report daily progress at resettlement sites; resolve petitions of units, apply compensation prices in accordance with regulations, and ensure the legitimate rights of the people. He requested the People's Committees of Van Ho and To Mua communes to increase their forces, urge contractors to construct on schedule, complete resettlement sites soon, and strive to welcome households to live in November 2025.
Previously, the working group inspected the resettlement sites of Ui village, Van Ho commune, Pang village and Na Cha village, To Mua commune.
