Dong Nai strives to achieve the basic criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030.

After 2 days of urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, on the afternoon of September 30, the 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, successfully concluded.

Delegates voted to pass the Resolution at the closing session.

At the closing session, delegates listened to a report summarizing comments at the Congress on the Documents of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress and draft Documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Next, the Congress passed the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, the development perspective is focused, focusing on promoting the advantages of the Southern Key Economic Zone and the province's internal strength, potential, and competitive advantages, ensuring synchronization and harmony between localities and regions in the province; restructuring the province's development space as a new driving force, ensuring the implementation of the double-digit growth target.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presented a report on receiving and explaining delegates' comments on the Documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.

Closely link and synchronously deploy tasks, in which economic and social development and environmental protection are central; Party building is key; cultural and human development is the foundation; ensuring national defense, security, border security and promoting foreign affairs and international integration are essential and regular.

The general goal during the term is to build Dong Nai province to develop green, rich, civilized, and modern; striving to meet the basic standards of a centrally-run city by 2030.

The Congress set out key targets, such as: Average GRDP growth rate of 10%/year or more. By 2030, the proportion of digital economy in GRDP will reach more than 30%; total product in the area (GRDP at current prices) will reach more than 1,200,000 billion VND; GRDP per capita will reach more than 250 million VND.

Comrade Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented a report summarizing comments.

By 2030, strive to achieve 70% of communes in the province meeting new rural standards, of which at least 10% meet modern new rural standards; the urbanization rate will reach 55%.

Every year, more than 90% of grassroots party organizations and party members are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better; the annual rate of admission of new party members reaches 3% of the total number of party members. By 2030, 100% of activities of Party and State agencies will be directed and operated in an electronic environment.

To achieve the set goals, the Congress identified 8 key tasks; 3 breakthroughs and 8 main groups of solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Three breakthroughs are: Improving the quality of the staff, especially key staff at all levels with strong political will, sufficient qualities, capacity, high sense of action and dedication, and prestige equal to the task; developing high-quality human resources in the fields of high-tech industry, logistics, education, healthcare, science and technology, and digital transformation.

Mobilize, allocate, and effectively use all resources, focus on developing a diverse, synchronous, modern transport infrastructure system, connecting within the province, regions, and inter-regions; economic-technical infrastructure system. Promote the development of urban infrastructure, technology infrastructure, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure associated with the orientation of underground space arrangement and smart public transport.

Comrade Ho Van Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Tran Bien Ward Party Committee presented a speech.

Promoting administrative reform; building a professional, modern, effective and efficient administration serving the people and businesses associated with the development of digital government, digital economy and digital society.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Provincial Party Secretary Vu Hong Van emphasized that the success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress is of special significance, demonstrating the high political determination of the entire Party and people in the province. This is the premise and solid foundation for the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set by the Congress in the next 5 years.

Dong Nai Provincial Party Secretary Vu Hong Van suggested that, immediately after the Congress, all Party organizations in the entire Party Committee urgently organize research, propaganda, and dissemination of the resolutions and documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress to all cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life in the province about the results of the Congress.

Urgently develop and deploy programs and action plans to quickly put the resolution into practice, launch widespread patriotic emulation movements throughout the Party, people and army, determined to successfully implement the goals set out in the resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress.
