Closing the 17th Congress of Hue City Party Committee, term 2025-2030

The Standing Committee of the 17th City Party Committee presented flowers to Secretary of the 16th City Party Committee Le Truong Luu.

At the meeting, the 17th City Party Executive Committee reported the results of the first meeting; the new Executive Committee was introduced, received its tasks and closed the Congress.

The Congress also elected a delegation to the 14th National Congress of the Party, consisting of 18 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate. These are comrades who are exemplary in political qualities, ethics, intelligence and working capacity; capable of making practical contributions to the success of the National Congress, while conveying the thoughts, aspirations, determination for innovation and development aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city.

After the Congress Presidium synthesizes and receives comments on documents at the Congress, votes to approve the Report synthesizing comments on the Draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, presents the draft and votes to approve the Congress Resolution.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized that after nearly 3 days of active and serious work, with a high sense of responsibility towards the Party Committee and people of the city, the 17th Congress of Hue City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, has completed all the contents and programs set out. The Congress was honored to receive the opinions of General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to give a speech directing the Congress.

The Congress discussed enthusiastically, frankly and unanimously approved the Political Report of the 16th Party Executive Committee; Report reviewing the leadership of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Report synthesizing opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party and discussed the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress.

The Congress also voted to pass the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress with absolute consensus, demonstrating the will, aspirations, and high determination and great aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people in the new term. The documents passed at the Congress are the crystallization of wisdom, demonstrating the will, aspirations and strong determination of the entire Party Committee and people of the city.

Comrade Le Truong Luu, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the 16th City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, Head of the City National Assembly Delegation presented flowers to the new Executive Committee.

Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committees, ministries and branches, the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command for directly leading, directing, creating conditions, encouraging and helping the Party Committee and people of Hue City during the past time, as well as during the days of the Congress.

The success of the 17th City Party Congress created new strength, new spirit and aspirations, strongly encouraging the entire Party, army and people to overcome difficulties and challenges, seize new opportunities and chances, and be determined to build Hue city to develop in the direction of green-smart-rich identity, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people of the whole country.

Immediately after the Congress, Party committees at all levels, authorities, Fatherland Front from the city to communes and wards, the Executive Committee of the 17th Party Congress and each delegate, with their positions and responsibilities, need to organize well the dissemination and dissemination of the Congress documents to cadres, party members and people; promptly develop programs and plans to concretize and focus on directing implementation, clearly assign responsibilities, strengthen inspection and supervision of implementation with specific tasks and products to soon bring the Resolution into life.
