During the 1-day event, delegates listened to Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Thao - Deputy Director of the Press Department ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) share on 2 topics including: "Speaking and providing information to the press", "Communicating new awareness policies, new ways of doing things". The topics focused on a number of contents such as: introducing the overview of Vietnamese press.

Provide guidance on speaking skills, providing information to the press; forms of providing information to the press; identify problems in journalism such as: clickbait from unverified news, sensational headlines and instructions on steps to handle problems that may lead to a media crisis. At the same time, provide information on the concept of policy communication, goals, roles, levels, principles of policy communication, etc.

In addition, delegates also listened to Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Dinh Van Nam report on the topic: "Foreign information work and prevention of bad and toxic information in the new situation"...

Through the training course, the aim is to foster and update knowledge and skills on speaking and providing information to the press for leaders and spokespeople of provincial departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts and cities. At the same time, improve knowledge for the team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in the province's foreign information work on the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws on the field of foreign information.

Improve coordination skills in handling issues of public concern, combating and handling inaccurate information that affects the reputation and image of the locality.
