Raid on restaurant with 40 female waitresses wearing "see-through" shirts selling sex

On January 21, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Investigation Police Agency is detaining Nguyen That Cam (born 1981, residing in District 5), Nguyen Thanh Phong (born 1975, residing in District 8), Nguyen That Thuyet (born 1979, Cam's brother) and Duong Thi Thuy Hang (born 1988, residing in Tan Phu District) to investigate the act of Prostitution Brokerage.

At around 8:40 p.m. on January 18, the Criminal Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC02) coordinated with District 5 Police to inspect karaoke restaurant 98 on Tran Binh Trong Street, Ward 1, District 5.

Through seized documents, the police initially determined that the restaurant owners, including Cam, Thuyet, and Phong, organized the restaurant's female waitresses to sell sex to customers to increase revenue.

At the time of the inspection, the police discovered that manager Duong Thi Thuy Hang was assisting four female attendants in selling sex at two hotels in District 5. Each time, the female attendants sold sex to customers for 5 million VND.

Cam, Thuyet, and Phong agreed to let Thuyet have the business license and take full responsibility for the operations when Cam and Phong were not present at the restaurant.

At the restaurant there are always about 40 female employees, dressed provocatively, wearing see-through shirts and ready to go all out with customers.
