Hanoi builds a culture of law compliance

This year, the theme of Law Day is "Building a culture of law compliance in the whole society, raising awareness of respect for the Constitution and the law among all citizens and organizations", aiming to form a standard lifestyle and behavior in the community, contributing to building a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Capital.

According to the plan, response activities will be widely deployed throughout the area, associated with the implementation of resolutions of the Central and the city on law making and enforcement, administrative reform, digital transformation, anti-corruption, environmental protection, social order and safety, and implementation of the Law on the Capital (amended).

The City People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, units, People's Committees of communes and wards to develop specific plans, ensuring practicality, savings, efficiency, focusing on grassroots activities, taking people as the center. In addition, propaganda is deployed synchronously on mass media, grassroots loudspeaker systems, social networks, billboards, posters, flags on central streets, agency headquarters and residential areas.

The Department of Justice (the standing agency of the City Council for Coordination of Legal Dissemination and Education ) is assigned to be the focal point for guiding and urging the organization of activities. In particular, the focus is on coordinating with the Department of Education and Training and the Hanoi Bar Association to organize the "Mock Trial" model for middle and high school students, contributing to educating legal awareness for the younger generation.

The capital's press agencies have stepped up propaganda and reflected practical activities in response to Law Day; honored examples of "Good people, good deeds" in complying with, protecting and spreading the spirit of respect for the law.

The Department of Culture and Sports was assigned to guide visual propaganda in public areas such as Hoan Kiem Lake, central streets and gateways to the capital, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere on this occasion.

The City People's Committee requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City and socio-political organizations to organize advocacy activities, thematic meetings, and legal dialogues at the grassroots level, promoting the role of people in supervising, building and enforcing laws.

With the motto "Living and working according to the Constitution and the law", Hanoi aims to turn Vietnam Law Day into not only an annual propaganda event, but also a regular and continuous activity, spreading the culture of the rule of law in social life, raising the sense of civic responsibility and creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the capital in the period of integration and digital transformation.
