Mr. Vu Kien Cuong, Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board, said that from October 20, for day-tour boats, in the summer (from April 1 to October 31), they can depart from 5:00 a.m. and arrive at the latest at 8:00 p.m.; while currently, tourist boats can only depart from 6:00 a.m. and arrive at the shore before 7:00 p.m. In the winter (from November 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025), day-tour boats visiting Ha Long Bay will depart from 5:30 a.m. and arrive at the shore no later than 7:00 p.m.; while currently, boats must depart from 6:30 a.m. and arrive at the shore at 6:30 p.m.Tourists take photos checking in at sunset on Ha Long Bay. For overnight ships in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, they must arrive at their accommodation no later than 6:30 p.m. in winter and 7:00 p.m. in summer. The operating time of water entertainment facilities in Ha Long Bay starts at 5:30 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. The above regulations do not apply to cruise ships when not transporting passengers.
