The way to school is getting shorter

First of all, it must be reiterated and emphasized that Thanh Hoa province recently decided to build and renovate 21 schools with a total investment of 1,590 billion VND to improve the quality of teaching and learning for students in border areas, which has created a strong ripple effect throughout the province. That decision not only helps to shorten the distance to school for many students in particularly difficult areas, but the students and their parents also feel the deep, practical and humane care from the Party and State's policies and regimes for education .

To make the new school year more meaningful, along with the participation of authorities at all levels, over the past few days, many organizations and individuals have organized volunteer trips to difficult areas and areas affected by natural disasters to provide relief to people, give gifts to students in difficult circumstances, help them have more books, school supplies, bicycles to go to school... Many students in especially difficult circumstances were also awarded scholarships and gifts of greater value. Many schools in mountainous areas were flooded, immediately after the water receded, local authorities and local shock forces volunteered to clean up, repair classrooms, and fix desks and chairs to promptly open the new school year...

These efforts are aimed at ensuring that students do not suffer any disadvantages. The school opening drums were simultaneously sounded from schools in remote border areas or flooded areas on September 5, following the unified direction of the Government on the opening ceremony of the new school year nationwide this year.

Perhaps the relief trucks and support gifts from organizations and individuals have not yet reached all the difficult areas and situations that need to be reached. Perhaps those gifts are not enough compared to the huge actual needs that the children need. But beyond the simple material values of bicycles, scholarships, and school supplies, it is the giving of love, demonstrating social responsibility for a community with equal access to knowledge.

Although there are still many difficulties, especially in terms of school facilities, which have been severely challenged by natural disasters in recent days, we have faith that when the drumbeat of the new school year rings out this year, the road to school for many students in difficult circumstances and students in remote areas will become smoother and closer.

And more than that, we believe that this path will continue to be built in the coming time by the appropriate investment and attention of the Party, the State and generous hearts. Because we all have deeply realized that the path to school for students in difficult areas is the path that opens up the future for communities that are still suffering from disadvantages and hardships.
