Previously, EVNSPC directed power companies in 21 provinces and cities in the Southern region to coordinate with local authorities, educational institutions, schools, etc. to develop and implement plans to ensure electricity supply during the high school graduation exam in the area, ensuring suitability and safety.
Power units under EVNSPC arrange reasonable methods of operating power sources and grids to ensure safety and reliability under normal conditions and flexible switching in case of incidents; prioritize ensuring electricity at exam locations of the Ministry of Education and Training , exam printing locations, exam organization and grading locations in provinces and cities.
EVNSPC also directed the city, town, district/county power units to proactively work and coordinate with the steering committee, local high school examination councils to grasp the list, location and electricity demand, ensuring stable power supply. Units need to develop plans and organize to ensure electricity at the exam locations of the Ministry of Education and Training, exam printing locations, exam organization and grading locations in provinces and cities; in addition, 24/24 hour electricity must be ensured at the exam printing locations.
In addition, the electricity sector also organizes on-site incident handling and electrical repairs during the 2024 high school graduation exam and university and vocational education entrance exam at exam venues, working locations of the steering committee and exam councils. EVNSPC prepares sufficient manpower, materials, equipment, means of transport, and backup generators to promptly handle incidents, switch operating methods or run backup generators, and quickly restore power to exam venues when incidents occur.
In particular, EVNSPC will not implement any planned power supply reduction that will affect the power supply to the above-mentioned locations from 0:00 on June 26, 2024 to 24:00 on June 29, 2024, except in case of incident handling. EVNSPC will update statistical data of all exam invigilation and grading locations in provinces and cities; organize on-site incident handling and electrical repairs during the exam period...
Units are also ready, preparing enough forces, materials, equipment, means of transport, diesel generators to urgently handle incidents, convert operating methods or run backup generators, quickly restore power to exam locations when incidents occur.
