This congress is of special significance, marking the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security Force (PPP) under the leadership of the Party. This is also a milestone opening a new development stage for the Party Committee and the entire PPP, towards the goal of " peace , stability, sustainable development, high quality and improving all aspects of people's lives".
At the exhibition area, FPT demonstrated many typical solutions such as Vietnam's epidemiological and pharmaceutical map, FPT.IDCheck electronic identification platform and smart traffic system applying CCCD in operating Metro line No. 1 (HCMC).
The Vietnam Epidemiology and Pharmaceutical Mapping Solution developed by FPT is considered a breakthrough tool in the field of preventive medicine and public health care. The system uses data from more than 2,200 FPT Long Chau pharmacies nationwide, serving more than 28 million people, to analyze drug demand and warn of disease risks in real time. By connecting to the national population database and integrating transactions via VNeID, this solution not only supports management agencies in formulating health policies, but also helps people access appropriate drugs, proactively prevent diseases and save on personal medical expenses.
In particular, from January 1, 2025, people can buy medicine online through identification with VNeID, marking a new step forward in digitalizing medical services.
FPT.IDCheck platform – an electronic identification and authentication solution developed by FPT – has now been licensed to connect directly to the population database of the Ministry of Public Security. Applying AI, Big Data, NFC and biometric technologies, this system allows for fast, accurate and secure digital identity authentication using chip-embedded CCCD.
To date, FPT.IDCheck has performed more than 25 million authentications, with a total of 100 million transactions, used by more than 200 organizations nationwide in the fields of banking, insurance, healthcare, education and public administration. The solution helps reduce fraud, improve user experience and is one of the platforms contributing to realizing the goal of building a digital government and digital society.
In addition, one of the notable highlights at the event was the smart traffic solution using chip-embedded ID cards to replace traditional tickets on Metro Line 1 in Ho Chi Minh City (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien). Passengers only need to scan their ID cards through the integrated reader, the system will automatically authenticate with national population data to open the control gate, ensuring safety, security and reducing travel time.
The system currently serves more than 120,000 trips per day, contributing to optimizing operations, reducing ticket infrastructure costs and opening up the potential for connecting multiple public services with just one single digital identifier - VNeID.
