Coffee prices increased to 2,000 VND/kg, highest in Dak Lak province

(GLO)- On October 5, coffee prices in key growing regions in the country increased by 1,500-2,000 VND/kg. Of which, the highest coffee price was recorded in Dak Lak province at 117,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,500 VND compared to yesterday.

In Gia Lai province, coffee prices increased by VND1,800/kg today, reaching VND116,800/kg. In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND2,000/kg, bringing the local purchase price to VND116,500/kg.

In the world market, coffee prices today are stable on the London and New York exchanges. Accordingly, on the London exchange, the November 2025 futures contract reached 4,527 USD/ton; the January 2026 futures contract reached 4,522 USD/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery reached 390.75 US cents/pound; the contract for March 2026 delivery reached 374.15 cents/pound.

Meanwhile, at the Brazilian exchange, Arabica coffee prices continued to fluctuate in opposite directions. Specifically, the December 2025 futures contract reached 463.25 US cents/pound, down 0.78%; the March 2026 futures contract reached 459.0 US cents/pound, down 0.69%; and the May 2026 futures contract reached 456.5 US cents/pound, up 3.3%.
