Gas prices fall for second consecutive month

Following the same trend as June, domestic retail gas prices in July continued to decrease for the second consecutive month following the trend of world gas prices.

Specifically, the retail price of Petrolimex gas cylinders (including VAT) in July 2025 in the Hanoi market is 434,200 VND/12 kg household cylinder; 1,736,700 VND/48 kg industrial cylinder, respectively decreasing by 18,600 VND/12 kg cylinder and 74,400 VND/48 kg cylinder (including VAT).

A representative of Petrolimex Gas Corporation said that the gas price decrease was due to the average world gas price contract in July at 560 USD/ton, a decrease of 25 USD/ton compared to June, so Petrolimex Gas Corporation made a corresponding adjustment.

Since the beginning of the year, gas prices have decreased 4 times and remained unchanged 3 times.

The continued decline in gas prices is considered a positive signal in the context that living costs remain a major concern for people.

Not only does this discount help reduce financial pressure for households, it also creates favorable conditions for businesses to balance production and operating costs.
