Implementing the plan of the Gia Lai Provincial Steering Committee 515 on collecting martyrs' remains in the area of Ia Boong and Tuy Phuoc Dong communes, on October 6, the Provincial Military Command directed Team K52 to organize forces and means to verify information.
By October 15, Team K52 had discovered and collected 18 martyrs' remains (information not yet identified) in Ga village, Ia Boong commune.

According to Colonel Nguyen Xuan Son, the process of exhuming the martyrs' remains was carried out seriously, with the coordination and direct witness of local government representatives. All 18 martyrs' remains were exhumed in accordance with the instructions, and all biological samples were collected for DNA identification. Currently, the martyrs' remains have been temporarily brought to the Ia Boong Commune Military Command by Team K52.
According to the plan, by October 20, Team K52 will complete the search and collection mission in Ia Boong commune, hand over all martyrs' remains according to regulations; and move back to the unit to prepare for the mission of collecting martyrs' remains in the 2025-2026 dry season in Cambodia.

From October 15 to 20, the Provincial Military Command will continue to coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to promote propaganda and mobilize people to provide information, and at the same time expand the search area in Ia Boong commune to discover and supplement information to serve the next search and collection rounds.
Based on the results of the search and collection of martyrs' remains in Ia Boong commune, the Provincial Military Command will coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize a memorial service and bury the remains of martyrs who died in Ia Boong commune according to regulations.
