Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Colonel Mai Kim Binh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command and members of the Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee 515.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the decision to reorganize Steering Committee 515 and the Specialized Committee; reported on the results of the work of searching, collecting and identifying martyrs' remains; implemented policies and regimes for those participating in the resistance war and performing international missions in the first 9 months of the year and directions for the last 3 months of 2025.
Accordingly, in the first 9 months of 2025, the Provincial Steering Committee 515 focused on leading, directing and implementing many synchronous solutions in the work of searching, collecting and identifying martyrs' remains; at the same time, implementing regimes and policies for those participating in the resistance war to protect the Fatherland and performing international duties.
As a result, the authorities have collected the remains of 23 martyrs in Cambodia and 13 martyrs in the country. The work of screening, mapping, searching and collecting martyrs' remains continues.
After the merger, the total number of martyrs initially buried in the area was more than 54,455 martyrs, while more than 9,000 martyrs have not been gathered. The number of martyrs with unknown information about gathering is 14,240 martyrs.

The memorial services, memorial services and burial of martyrs' remains were held solemnly and thoughtfully, expressing deep gratitude for the contributions of heroic martyrs, contributing to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Provincial Military Command has also assessed and proposed to resolve policies for nearly 300 cases according to the Prime Minister 's decisions, with an amount of nearly 700 million VND.
Concluding the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich requested the Provincial Military Command to complete the regulations and assign tasks to each member; advise the Military Region Command and the National Steering Committee to give guidance on the content and methods of the regulations for talks with neighboring countries.
Provincial Steering Committee 515 builds a budget estimate to carry out tasks in 2026; continues to collect DNA samples of martyrs' relatives for storage to have a source for comparison; innovates propaganda work, strengthens coordination with forces, localities and Cambodian authorities to step up the search, collection and identification of martyrs' remains; at the same time, promptly and strictly resolves regimes and policies for people with revolutionary contributions.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also directed the Provincial Task Force to prepare the content of the meeting plan with the three provinces of Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, Preah Vihear (Cambodia), and closely coordinate with the Cambodian government and functional forces to search for and collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts.
Team K52 closely surveyed, grasped information and carried out mass mobilization work in 3 neighboring provinces in the 2025-2026 dry season; at the same time, effectively advised the Provincial People's Committee on foreign affairs.
In addition, priority is given to policies for the K52 team to perform tasks on friendly land; advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to have a plan to pay attention to the restoration and embellishment of monuments on friendly land as well as have policies to restore and expand martyr cemeteries in the province; contribute to the implementation of the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", and educate traditions for current and future generations.
