Pi price on OKX exchange on March 23, 2025 is fluctuating around the price from 0.9589 USD to 1.13 USD (equivalent to 24,530 VND to 28,760 VND). Thus, according to the time of writing, Pi price on OKX exchange decreased sharply by 8.6% compared to yesterday, reaching 25,620 VND

Many Pi Network users are feeling worried and disappointed as the value of Pi coins has dropped sharply, not as expected. Some people shared that their accounts were "split in half" after buying more Pi, while others regretted not being able to close the profit in time.

Mr. Hoang Kha in Quang Binh said he spent more than 5,000 USD to buy more Pi when the price was at 1.9 USD, because he believed that this coin would increase. Before that, he had been mining since 2022 and had more than 1,000 Pi in his wallet.

Although he was advised to take profits when the price peaked at $3, he held on hoping the price would continue to rise. However, the price continued to fall and by March 21 was only around $0.89. His investment had evaporated by more than half, making him very anxious and planning to sell at a loss because part of the money was borrowed.

Similarly, Mr. Le Vi in Binh Thuan also expressed disappointment. After three years of inviting friends to join, he had more than 5,000 Pi in his wallet and hoped that Pi would be worth at least a few dozen USD. However, the price was so low that he planned to sell 2/3 of the Pi he held.

On social media groups, many people also shared their disappointment because the price was not as expected. Before the network was launched, the community had high expectations, even calling for a price of each Pi from 500 to 1,000 USD. However, when the Pi price continuously decreased after the network was launched, many people were discouraged.

According to Hoang Anh, administrator of a Facebook group about Pi Network, the community is clearly divided into two factions. One side is disappointed by the price drop, especially those who bought more Pi at a high price. The other side still believes in the project, calling for not selling and encouraging others to buy more.

Some crypto market insiders warn that Pi Network has characteristics similar to meme coin projects, making it prone to pump and dumps. They believe that the price will fall further as more Pi is released.

Wallet analytics show that there are currently nearly 7 billion Pi in circulation, while the maximum total supply could be as high as 100 billion. Many wallets locked to speed up mining will soon be opened, contributing to further price drops.

Although Pi Network announced its network opening on February 20, the project is still considered incomplete due to the lack of smart contracts and lack of transparency in the source code.

Over the past month, the development team has only made a few minor changes such as holding domain auctions, expanding the ecosystem, and enabling internal transactions through PiFest.

Launched in 2019, Pi Network has attracted a large number of users in Vietnam thanks to its simple mining method - just open the application and check in every day. However, taking nearly 6 years to open the network has raised many controversies and doubts about the real potential of the project.
