Gasoline prices drop across the board from today, July 1st, due to VAT reduction

From today, July 1, the selling prices of all petroleum products have decreased due to Resolution No. 204/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on reducing value added tax (VAT) taking effect.

From 0:00 on July 1, the maximum retail prices for petroleum products are applied as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 20,530/liter, a decrease of VND 381/liter compared to June 30; RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 21,116/liter, a decrease of VND 391/liter compared to June 30; 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 19,349/liter, a decrease of VND 358/liter compared to June 30; kerosene is not higher than VND 19,064/liter, a decrease of VND 19,417/liter compared to June 30; 180CST 3.5S mazut is not higher than VND 16,955/kg, a decrease of VND 314/kg compared to June 30.

At the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) - the enterprise with the highest retail market share in the Vietnamese market, gasoline prices were also adjusted as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is sold at VND20,530/liter; RON95-III gasoline is VND21,110/liter; 0.05SV diesel is VND19,600/liter; kerosene is VND19,060/liter; 180CST 3.5S fuel oil is VND16,950/kg.

The new price takes effect from 00:00 on July 1, 2025 until the next gasoline price adjustment period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance; and is publicly announced on the website petrolimex.com.vn and Petrolimex member petroleum companies.

For areas far from ports, far from main warehouses, far from petroleum production facilities as prescribed in Clause 27, Article 1, Decree 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 of the Government (Petrolimex referred to as "Zone 2"); The General Director of Petrolimex authorizes the Directors of Petrolimex member petroleum companies to directly decide on the actual selling price at the business location but must not exceed the above Zone 2 price./.
