Gasoline prices continue to decrease across the board, the highest price is only 20,820 VND/liter

The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance to be adjusted from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (September 5).

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 360 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price is 19,970 VND/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline is not higher than 20,820 VND/liter, after being adjusted down 280 VND/liter compared to the retail price from August 29.

Also from 3:00 p.m. on September 5, the price of 0.05S diesel oil will not be higher than 18,090 VND/liter (down 380 VND/liter compared to the current retail price); The price of kerosene will not be higher than 18,720 VND/liter (down 340 VND/liter compared to the current retail price). Similarly, in this period, the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will also decrease by 410 VND/liter compared to the previous period, the new price is 15,150 VND/kg.

Gasoline prices continue to be adjusted down from the afternoon of September 5

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this management period (from September 29 to 5) is affected by the following factors: New developments in the conflict in the Middle East, increased US crude oil reserves; OPEC estimates that oil demand in 2024 will decrease due to the weakening of the Chinese economy; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, etc. The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world during the period of price adjustment from August 29 to September 5 was 86.385 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 1.189 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.40%); 90.893 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 1.203 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.34%); 93.020 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 1.190 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.30%); 92.705 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (up 0.777 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.85%); 469.243 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 9.093 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 1.98%).

Since the beginning of the year, the prices of petroleum products have gone through 35 price adjustments, of which RON95 and E5RON92 gasoline have increased 16 times and decreased 19 times, diesel oil has increased 14 times and decreased 21 times, and mazut oil has increased 18 times and decreased 17 times.
