Thai Nguyen Central Hospital deploys electronic medical records

On September 30, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital announced its decision to deploy electronic medical records (EMR), signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) - Thai Nguyen Branch and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University, for the period 2025-2035.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Cong Hoang, Party Secretary and Director of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital, the implementation of electronic medical records is an important step in the hospital's digital transformation journey, contributing to modernizing management, reducing paperwork, improving the efficiency of medical examination and treatment activities and increasing patient satisfaction.

“This is also a key goal in the roadmap to build smart hospitals, in line with the orientation of the Ministry of Health and the national digital transformation strategy,” Mr. Hoang added.

On this occasion, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital signed a cooperation agreement with VietinBank - Thai Nguyen Branch and Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The signing of the cooperation agreement between Thai Nguyen Central Hospital and VietinBank - Thai Nguyen Branch opens up solutions to connect healthcare with finance and banking, bringing practical benefits to patients and healthcare staff.

Thai Nguyen Central Hospital and Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy cooperate together to focus on training high-quality medical human resources, scientific research, developing technical expertise and expanding international cooperation in the period 2025-2035.
